Students are to watch the film, Visions
of Light. Following the viewing of the film, students are to
select two of the shots from the film and re-create them as accurately as
possible in terms of their framing and their use of light. The shots
may be re- contextualized and do not need to remain faithful in terms of
costume and set.
Students will be marked on their ability to
recreate the shots and the level of difficulty involved in those
recreations. Students may work in groups but each student is
personally responsible for completing two shots. This project is out of 3 marks and worth 3%
of your final mark in the theory and preproduction course.
Foe each shot you should start by showing the
actual shot (rip/download) and then your version. Ensure the project (the file
itself ) you hand in is titled firstname.lastname.visionsoflight
